Laudate Dominum

Laudate Dominum ('Praise the Lord') is one of four motets taken from the oratorio Omnia, which, in its original form, Gloria, was commissioned by Medici Choir to celebrate its 40th anniversary in 1991.

This work can either be performed a cappella, with a light organ accompaniment, or with orchestra as in the recording available here.

This movement is also available as the 'Gloria' in Missa Maria Magdalene (see Sanctus and Agnus Dei) and should preferably be performed with organ.
